Ovarian cancer is a cancer that affects the ovaries in women. It is often referred to as the “silent killer” because ovarian cancer symptoms often do not appear until it is too late for effective treatment. There are three symptoms of ovarian cancer that aid in early detection. Women should look

  • Quick feel full after eating or difficulty eating
  • Abdominal bloating and / or pelvic pain
  • Frequent urge to urinate

Experts recommend that women who suffer from these symptoms ovarian or more daily for three weeks should see their doctor.

Other symptoms of cancer of the ovaries will not appear until the disease has progressed to advanced stages. These symptoms include

  • Changes in bowel habits (frequency and consistency)
  • Ain during intercourse
  • Persistent fatigue
  • Abdominal weight gain
  • Sudden weight gain or weight loss
